The Oregonian Praises A Few Stout Individuals
Posted 02/19/08
"This is a complex play with thirteen characters and at least as many perspectives on memory -- Western vs. Eastern, diseased vs. healthy, popular vs. private, present vs. historical, painful vs. pleasant -- in styles ranges from realism to fantasy and farce. Profile director Pam Sterling does an admirable job of keeping it under control, splicing the disparate elements into a potent whole.
The Profile production has much to praise, including a cast that is strong from top to bottom and a set and costumes that aid unobtrusively in the separation and blending of the imaginary and the real."
